Manufacturer Provided Description
Hunter Marine has launched the latest of the new Glenn Henderson designed cruisers. The new Hunter 33 is a combination of comfort and performance in a very affordable package. The underbody of the 33 mirrors Henderson?s other Hunter designs in the recent 41 and 44-foot models. Bringing the beam well aft to provide interior space, but not sacrificing performance has worked extremely well in his innovative designs. The deck is wide and workable without intrusions. The cockpit can hold a crowd under sail or at the dock, but is also set up to sail easily single handedly. Accommodations include a large, aft master stateroom with plenty of storage and headroom. The galley is complete with Corian® counters, a two-burner range, icebox and a deep, single basin stainless steel sink. Even the non-skid dishware is included. Entertaining or fortifying the crew is easy in a massive salon and guests will appreciate the privacy of the forward v-berth stateroom. Come Discover the Difference and see why the new Hunter 33 could be the right boat for you.

Rig and Sail

The B&R (Belgstrom & Ridder) rig has numerous benefits and was developed for use on performance 'round the world' race boats. The mast with swept back spreaders allows for a broad 'tripod' base creating an immensely strong rig with greatly reduced stress on the hull. The need for a backstay is eliminated allowing a longer boom and bigger more efficient mainsail. This in turn makes for effortless sailing with the mainsail generating the majority of the sail power.

  • Selden mast and spars
  • Slab reef mainsail
  • Furling genoa
  • Original sails, but in good condition
  • New zip on the lazybag
  • New lazyjack lines
  • Spinnaker halyard
  • 2 x Lewmar aft sheet winches (30's)
  • 2 x Lewmar halyard winches (16's)
  • Rig check - 2016
  • I : 37.42 ft
  • J : 10.83 ft
  • P : 36.42 ft
  • E : 13.83 ft
  • Working Sail Area : 625.00 sq ft
Bilge Keel Advantage

This keel configuration allows the boats to sit on a mud berth or in tidal harbours and estuaries where the moorings have reduced depth. This keel configuration designed by Hunter Legend has been proven to perform as well as the standard fin keel models.

Mainsheet Traveler Arch

Designed to eliminate the possibility of injury from the boom or mainsheet and to provide efficient control of the mainsail via a very short mainsheet. In addition they enhance safety further by providing a strong grab handle and anchor points for all of the crew. Furthermore they act as a superb support for all over cockpit enclosures, canopies and biminis.
