Owners Comments

Having just completed a circumnavigation, she does require some works, which Blue Lagoon Marine can arrange for the new purchaser if required

  • Main sail needs replacing. It had been repaired but the material has degraded quite a bit from UV, to the extend that I ripped it again when trying to lay it out flat on the deck. Cost to replace circa €2500
  • There are areas on the boat that require attention to the gel coat. I was hit in the Galapagos by another boat, I hit a boat in Crete when I was blown on it by the wind. It also has some scratches on the bow when I was springing off the wall and the fender slipped away. Further knocks by blocks have taken bits out of the deck. Cost to repair circa €5000
  • The hard bimini lets in water where it is attached to the coach roof. As a consequence of these leaks the panels circuit boards have become unstable and need replacing. Cost to seal circa €250. Circuit pcb’s €1500
  • Port head hatch is cracked and to be replaced (not leaking) circa €200
  • Anchor chain (10mm) quite rusty and only 35m long. Ought to be replaced with a longer chain
  • Steering wheel needs to be re-covered.

All navigation equipment was added new to the yacht in the last couple of years, full details can be provide
